Earn trust through expertise. Build lasting relationships through service.

My academic and technical background

In 2019, I earned a B.S.E. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, followed by an M.S. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

I have six years of research experience, focused on diagnosing and improving database performance. My work during an internship at Microsoft Research led to a U.S. patent.

Before entering the mortgage industry, I worked as a platform engineer at a technology company whose platform serves more than 85% of Fortune 500 companies. As the final escalation point for critical platform and database issues, I helped maintain platform performance and reliability and resolve critical technical problems.

These experiences developed my rigorous engineering mindset and my habits of reasoning from first principles, solving problems systematically, improving processes, and communicating clearly. I hope to bring these skills and this way of thinking to mortgage services to help you feel at ease.

Bringing the structure and clarity of research writing to your application

I bring the structure and clarity of research writing to preparing your loan application documents. My goal is to help you prepare a complete, easy-to-understand, and well-supported application package so underwriters can clearly assess your circumstances.

Advocating for you with facts and clear communication

My research and work experiences in the United States have strengthened my ability to communicate with different stakeholders. During underwriting, I am willing to advocate for your legitimate interests with reasoned arguments so your circumstances receive full and accurate consideration. Final decisions remain subject to applicable underwriting standards.

A mortgage advisor you can reach and rely on

I pride myself on making myself available to my clients around the clock, not just 9–5.

An advisor you can trust over time

For me, closing a loan is also the beginning of a lasting relationship. So I hope to be the mortgage advisor you want to contact again. I believe trust compounds. Every thoughtful conversation, clear explanation, and completed follow-up builds trust over time. Wherever you are in your homebuying journey, I will give you the same patience, respect, and care.

Outside of work

My wife and I live with our two cats in a small condo we own in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood. I enjoy walks, discovering good restaurants, skiing, and sports including baseball, basketball, and soccer. I’m also a University of Michigan fan—Go Blue!

If you enjoy food or sports too, we can trade restaurant recommendations and talk about sports teams and ski destinations alongside your homebuying plans.

Let’s chat over coffee

If you’d like to meet in person, you’re always welcome to reach out. Coffee is on me. I’d love to hear your story and homebuying plans and talk through the questions on your mind.
